Went to the Rambokk, Lobotomized and Desaster concert yesterday at Betong, a venue 200 metres from my house. Steve came down to my place around 19:30 with some beers and we started drinking here, listened to some music, played Elma and talked about current happenings. Went down to the venue around 21:30 I believe, and arrived just after Rambokk were finishing their set. We weren’t really there for the bands anyway, so I couldn’t have cared less.

Lobotomized and Desaster were OK, but nothing to brag about that’s for sure. Got drunk and had some fun, so can’t really complain. Went back to my place eventually, where Steve contemplated about whether to just fall asleep at my place or take the trouble of going home so he didn’t feel like shit in the morning. He opted for the second, borrowing my Lords of Chaos book (previously mentioned) for himself and my Al Stewart Live at Grace Cathedral DVD for his dad who wanted to see it.

Woke up around noon today, feeling pretty shitty, I slept absolutely horribly. I always forget to drink water when I’m doing these drunken sessions, it really helps when you remember it. Luckily my hangover didn’t last too long, some orange juice and ibuprofen combo solved that.
