Iron Maiden, Göteborg
Been planning this for quite a few months now, and finally it’s sinking in what’s going to happen. Iron Maiden are playing next week in Göteborg, and I’m going. When the tickets were put out for sale, they vanished within 2 hours, and I couldn’t get ahold of one. Luckily for me, oizo prevailed and had bought a few extra ones. He let me and one of my friends get one each, which I’m forever grateful for. So, next week on Friday, I will be travelling together with my friend Steve, and \DC who will accompany us as well. We’ll arrive on Friday, the day before the concert is, and we’re going to stay at Luther’s place (unless something should come up). Crazy is going to the concert as well, so it will be me, Steve, oizo and Crazy going there together, should be fun. \DC is just coming along for the ride so to speak, and I guess he’ll stay home with Luther in the mean time. Also heard some rumours about Jalli being in Göteborg at the time, and maybe even xtC will be there. It’s almost like a mini elma meeting. After we get home from the concert, there will most likely be some alcohol involved, which should generate a fun night back at Luther’s place. We’re staying over untill Sunday, when we’ll depart back home. Unfortunately my friend couldn’t get his parent’s car for the trip, so we’ll have to take the train or buss to Göteborg. Still not sure what we’ll opt for. Train is expensive as hell, but at the same time I can’t stand busses. I’ll try to bring my camera and take some pictures from the trip as well.
Iron fucking Maiden. Still can’t believe it. On this tour they’ll be playing old stuff and songs they usually don’t play at concerts, so it will certainly be a night to remember I hope.
