I feel ashamed, but during the weekend I downloaded the new Gwen Stefani song What are you Waiting for? and have had it playing continuously ever since. I just love everything about it, specially in combination with the video, she look so gorgeous in it. The first Lord of the Rings movie was on TV last night, and having nothing better to do than laying in bed, I watched it. Now, I’ve already seen it twice before, and I’ve seen the other two as well, and although I’ve found them to be quite good, it never dawned on me before last night how incredible they really are. Not only am I listening to Gwen Stefani, but I also started crying on several occasions through out LOTR in the weirdest places, just because of the sheer beauty and the power. I must be in some emotionally unstable state or something.

I can’t possibly see anyone making a better movie adaption of LOTR, ever. It’s weird to think about how this movie will be viewed, say 50 years into the future. Think about how it is to see Casablanca and such movies today for example. And think about how seeing this movie just 7-10 years before it was released would be like, how breathtaking and unbelievable it would seem.
